2 września odbyła się uroczystość rozdania nagród AIM Independent Music Awards 2014. Ceremonię w londyńskim The Brewery poprowadzili Alice Levine z Radio 1 oraz John Kennedy z rozgłośni XFM.

Niezależną Wytwórnią Roku 2014 zostało Domino. Nagroda dla najlepszej Małej Wytwórni trafiła do Hyperdub, firmy założonej przez Steve’a Goodmana, który otrzymał nagrodę Innowatora Roku. Martin Mills – założyciel Beggars Group – został laureatem Pioneer Award.

AIM jest stowarzyszeniem zrzeszającym niezależną brytyjską branżę muzyczną. Status członka posiada ponad 850 małych i dużych firm a także artyści indywidualni.
