Grammy Awards uważane są za najważniejsze nagrody przemysłu muzycznego. 58 uroczysta gala odbędzie się 15 lutego w Staples Center w Los Angeles.

7 grudnia amerykańska The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, ogłosiła nominacje do Grammy 2016. Najwięcej szans na statuetkę mam Kendrick Lamar, który otrzymał 11 nominacji oraz Taylor Swift i The Weeknd nominowani w siedmiu kategoriach. Cała trójka będzie walczyć m.in. w kategorii Najlepszy Album Roku.

W kategorii Best New Artist zmierzą się Meghan Trainor, znana przede wszystkim z przeboju All About the Bass, Sam Hunt – piosenkarz country, Brytyjczyk James Bay oraz Tori Kelly – amerykańska piosenkarka i autorka tekstów i pochodząca z Australii Courtney Barnett.
